Messages from Ally are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence unless clearly labeled otherwise. Ally is software, not a human matchmaker, therapist, lawyer, medical professional, or emergency service.
2. Where AI is used
- Turn open-ended onboarding answers into structured profile facts and evolving narrative summaries.
- Choose follow-up questions when important information is missing or confidence is low.
- Generate embeddings and evaluate mutual compatibility across relationship goals, lifestyle, date style, preferences, logistics, and potential conflicts.
- Explain opportunities, classify rejection feedback, and use relevant feedback to improve logistics or your private profile knowledge.
- Suggest times, venues, and shared-interest date ideas after deterministic availability, distance, capacity, and opening-hours checks.
- Provide dating guidance and anonymized insights within Ally’s allowed scope.
3. What a match score means
A match percentage is a comparative estimate produced from available information. It can combine deterministic eligibility rules, semantic similarity, directional preference checks, logistics, optional visual criteria, and an AI evaluation of potential strengths and conflicts.
The score is not scientific certainty, an attractiveness rating, or a guarantee that either person will feel chemistry. Missing or ambiguous information lowers confidence and may cause Ally to ask a clarifying question instead of presenting an opportunity.
4. Sensitive and visual preferences
Ally uses sexual-attraction, religious, spiritual, or physical-preference information only when you choose to provide it and, where required, explicitly consent to its use. Attraction-reference images are private matching inputs and are not shown to another user.
We do not use race or another protected trait to make an unlawful discriminatory decision. Broad preference data can still reproduce bias, so sensitive dimensions require additional controls, monitoring, and a way for users to correct or remove them.
5. Your control
- Edit your strict profile fields and narrative summaries.
- Decline optional permissions or disconnect a calendar.
- Pause proactive matchmaking or change dating cadence.
- Accept, reject, or give a passed opportunity another chance where your plan allows.
- Reject or request a change to a proposed date.
- Report or block a person and contact support about an AI output.
- Withdraw consent for optional sensitive processing and request deletion.
6. Limitations and human review
AI may misunderstand context, infer something you did not mean, produce unsafe or inaccurate text, or perform differently across languages and demographic groups. We test structured outputs, deterministic filters, confidence, and safety boundaries, but those measures cannot remove every error.
Report an incorrect, discriminatory, or unsafe result to support@dearally.app or safety@dearally.app. Material safety and privacy complaints can be reviewed by a person. No AI result removes your right to request correction, object to processing where applicable, or appeal an account or content decision.
