1. What this website stores
dearally.app stores your selected language in browser local storage under the key “ally-language”. This functional setting lets the site remain in English or French on your next visit.
The landing page also stores your cookie-banner choice under the key “ally-cookie-consent-v1”. The value records whether you selected “Accept” or “Necessary only” so the banner does not reappear on every visit.
The website host may process ordinary request logs such as IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser or device information, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. These logs are not used by Ally for behavioral advertising.
2. What we do not currently use
- No third-party advertising cookies.
- No cross-site behavioral tracking.
- No social-media tracking pixels.
- No optional analytics cookies on the public landing page.
3. Your controls
You can clear the language preference and cookie-banner choice through your browser’s site-data controls. If you remove them, the site returns to the language reported by your device or browser and asks for your cookie preference again.
If we later introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for consent before activating them.
4. The mobile app
Mobile permissions, device identifiers, push notifications, connected services, subscriptions, and app telemetry are described in the Privacy Policy. They are not browser cookies, but similar privacy rules may apply.
